PHFA is located on the corner of Front and Locust Street. Please enter our building from Front Street and check-in at the reception desk. Public parking is available at several locations throughout the City of Harrisburg at a minimal fee.

Directions to our Door

From the West via I-76 E (PA Turnpike) & I-83 North

1. Use I-76 E (PA Turnpike) Exit 242; merge onto I-83 N
2. Travel North on I-83 toward Harrisburg
3. Traveling on I-83 N, Cross Susquehanna River Bridge; take exit 43 toward 2nd Street / State Capitol
4. Continue on South 2nd Street (slight left after 1st red light at Paxton St) and proceed North
5. Turn left onto Pine Street (7th red light)
6. Turn left onto N Front Street.

From the East via I-76 W (PA Turnpike) & I-83 South

1. Use I-76 W (PA Turnpike) Exit 247; merge onto I-283 N to PA-283/Harrisburg/Hershey
2. Travel North on I-283. Stay in left lane. Take exit 3A on the left to merge onto I-83 S toward Harrisburg
3. Traveling on I-83 S, take exit 43 toward 2nd Street / State Capitol
4. Continue on South 2nd Street (slight left after 1st red light at Paxton St) and proceed North
5. Turn left onto Pine Street (7th red light)
6. Turn left onto N Front Street.

From Interstate 81 (North or South)

1. Take I-81 to Exit 66 - Front Street (old Exit 22).
2. Take the SOUTH FRONT ST ramp.
3. Proceed South on Front Street.
4. Pass Maclay Street and continue past Forster Street.

Whether you’re visiting PHFA or just looking for a place to park downtown, the Harrisburg Parking Authority’s Web site provides maps and rate information on at least eight parking garages and thousands of metered parking spaces throughout the City of Harrisburg.  Parking fees are your responsibility; PHFA does not provide free parking stamps or passes.
